Nathalie Du PasquierMind the gap

DESCRIPTION OF ARTWORK
New perspectives thanks to ceramic tiles
The French artist has created a site-specific installation that transforms the entrance to Victoria Station. The great work invites a change of perspective and the opening of a new look in the experience of all the passengers who meet it daily and can interact with it, using some elements, such as the seats.
The artist’s ability to offer new interpretations of space, through compositions of shapes and colors, in this case is linked to the use of a material commonly found in subways – ceramic tile – reinterpreting it with new evocations.

Always interested in ceramics, Natalie Du Pasquier has already worked with this element starting precisely from its simplicity and functionality to explore its infinite creative possibilities.

Nathalie Du Pasquier
From the radical design of the 1980s to a painting that becomes architecture: it investigates how forms, colors, and objects dialogue in space, oscillating between figuration and abstraction in an imaginary suspended between reality and imagination.
