Arte in Metro

A non-place. A space in the making.

Art in the Metro is the Brescia Metro project that invites the viewer to experience the city in a new way, discovering the beauty hidden in everyday life and experiencing an ongoing dialogue between artistic innovation and urban space.

From this vision in Brescia, between the stations and the metro depot, a new museum of contemporary art takes shape, giving citizens and tourists the opportunity to explore the various contemporary languages.

The SUBBRIXIA project develops as a large underground public exhibition inside the metro stations that brings together different expressive languages, bringing the most authentically contemporary art forms to the city, in a museum that is not a place, but a space in constant evolution, while thanks to the Metro Urban Museum, the open-air museum born inside the metro depot, it is possible to explore the world of street art through its most renowned protagonists on an international scale.
