Valentina PicozziYou can’t stop this train!

DESCRIPTION OF ARTWORK
Train as a message of freedom
With You Can’t Stop This Train! Valentina Picozzi has created a site-specific work born from the city’s movement itself: a decorated convoy and a large mural that interact with each other in the spaces of the metro depot on Via Magnolini.
On the surfaces of the train and on the walls of the museum, the artist constructs a visual landscape in which Andy Warhol’s famous Dollar Sign becomes a “B”: B like Brescia, but also like Bitcoin – symbol of an invisible, intangible, decentralized economic revolution.

Her speech at the MUM makes a symbolic and geographical leap: You Can’t Stop This Train! combines worlds and languages, making visible what moves under the radar.
The train becomes a moving cultural device, carrying a message of freedom and evolution.
In the background of the work, the Satoshi Code, a graphical representation of the algorithm that regulates the Bitcoin protocol, draws the plot of a language made up of signs and numbers.
Among these, the motto You Can’t Stop This Train is imprinted like an urban mantra: a call for unstoppable change, to the rhythm of a world that moves between matter and digital, between public space and collective imagination.
