Patrick Tuttofuoco
It transforms space into a luminous and shared experience, celebrating the city as a living organism through sculptures of light that blend architecture, technology, and collective energy.

Transforming the environment through light
Born in Milan in 1974, Patrick Tuttofuoco belongs to the generation of artists who have been able to weave art, architecture and technology in a vital and luminous language. Trained at the Polytechnic University of Milan and the Brera Academy, he made his debut in 2000 with a solo exhibition at Studio Guenzani, immediately establishing himself as one of the most original voices on the contemporary scene.
His work is conceived as a dialogue between individuals and their ability to transform the environment they inhabit, exploring notions of community and social integration in order to combine immediate sensory attraction with the power to trigger profound theoretical responses. Lights, mirrored surfaces, lasers, and colored neon lights are the elements that allow him to create a dialogue with the audience and the space in which he operates, and which reflect the dynamic and choral root of his artistic research.
From monumental Eight Towers to plexiglass spheres pulsating with energy, to videos like Boing (2001), the artist celebrates a world in motion, open, bright.
The first impression I got when I went down the Brescia metro was the extreme depth of its platforms, and I realized that this dimension was due to the layers of history that had to be traversed to realize the project.
