Pioneer of urban digital art that transforms the digital age into retro-futuristic works present on five continents, fusing vintage aesthetics and technological avant-garde.

J. Demsky was born in 1979 in Elche, Spain. He has been active in the public art world since the early 1990s and has appeared with his works on all five continents. By capturing the essence of the digital age and reinterpreting it in an innovative way, it transforms blocks of information into works of art that dance and move through the viewer’s imagination in a bridge between the digital avant-garde and aesthetic beauty.
Demsky’s works have many collaborations with brands and prestigious personalities. His video installations have illuminated the world’s most important squares, from Times Square to Hong Kong and even the famous Shibuya Crossing. He has traveled and painted in over 50 countries around the world, maintaining his dedication to the search for letter morphology intact, blending it with the abstraction of serial and eccentric retro-futuristic forms. In the productions of recent years Demsky balances ultra futuristic aesthetics with elements of the visual vintage of the technology of previous decades defining a unique style
In June 2023, it was J. Demsky who rewrote the museum’s visual code with Hypr Metrobot™, a digital explosion that seems to emerge directly from the 1980s and 1990s: overlapping shapes and colors, evoking the frenzy of arcade video games, the acceleration of our era, the fusion of technology and urban art.
