From the margins and from everyday life he builds an emotional theatre where precariousness becomes poetry and the audience recognizes itself in its collective representation.

Born in Codogno in 1966, Marcello Maloberti lives and works in Milan, where he teaches Visual Arts at NABA – Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti. His research arises from the margins: from everyday gestures, from urban peripheries, from gazes that escape the attention of the center. From this fragile matter, Maloberti constructs a powerful and poetic language, capable of transforming reality into a stage.
With a neorealist and dreamlike perspective, the artist investigates the precariousness of life and makes it a theatre, intertwining art history, popular culture and the collective dimension. His performances and light or sound installations, often designed for public spaces, become experiences to be traversed rather than observed: atmospheres in which the audience is the protagonist and the social body becomes part of the work.
Over the years, Maloberti has developed an increasingly intense dialogue between art and life, constructing choral narratives in which photography, videos, collages, and objects coexist. Every gesture, every word, every light is a fragment of a greater reality: that of humanity that resists, dreams, and recognizes itself in its own representation.
Going down to the station you enter another Brescia, in that hidden city that left me speechless, made of Roman remains and magnificent thanks to its metro
